I'll show you the authentic way to make classic French tarte au citron, yes !

This is a lemon tart you will really enjoy making, and you'll enjoy eating even more !

I also top the lemon cake with a hand crafted chocolate decoration using Hershey's chocolate.

Walnut Kissed Mini Banana Loaves

Italian Meringue

I'll show you step by step detailed instruction, how to make authentic Italian Meringue.
Once you taste this type of meringue, you'll never want anything else.

This is the first step in making an Italian buttercream icing, which I'll do in a future video.
Watch as I take a complicated recipe and make it easy to do ! I break it down so you can
understand it in an easy way.

Italian meringue becomes very stiff, you can use it in a lemon meringue pie recipe,
Baked Alaska recipes, and even French macarons ( French macaroons ) It's a very versatile
meringue that all pastry shops make on a daily basis. 

Strawberry - Raspberry Tart

I'll show you how to make a super delicious strawberry and raspberry
fruit tart. - From start to finish !

We'll start off with the yummiest pastry dough ( a shortbread style crust )
I'll show you every simple step to make this, then we'll make classic French pastry cream,
then finally we'll assemble the fruit tart. This video is 20 minutes long, so grab a coffee, a cup of tea,
and enjoy the video :-)

I've used strawberry and raspberries, but you can use anything you like, like field berries, kiwis,
blueberries, even sliced grapes, whatever tickles your fancy :-)

For those interested, I'm using the Salton brand induction cooker. This is an amazing
portable range very useful for cooking demos, etc. I love it !

Simple Syrup
Video Recipe

I'll show you how to make simple syrup for cakes. 
You can flavor simple syrup with different flavors like vanilla, almond, rum, brandy,
peppermint, spearmint, lemon, orange, etc, any flavoring you like can be added to this syrup.
We use this this everyday in the pastry shop to moisten and flavor "Genois" a style of cake.
It can also be used to cover fruit on fruit tarts which gives it a glaze, adds a sweetness to it,
and also protects the fruit from air. The more you boil the sugar - water mixture, the thicker it becomes.

This is an easy recipe, as we only use water and sugar in this video. Simple syrup is also used for cocktails, fancy drinks etc. Follow along if you wish :-)
