St. Patrick's Day Jumbo Shamrock Sugar Cookies !

( using Wilton's sugar cookie recipe )

Happy St.Patrick's Day !

Let's make some of my yummy JUMBO shamrock sugar cookies !

Easy to do, and yummy to eat !

I'll be using Wilton's sugar cookie recipe for this with a slight variation on the vanilla,

but it's still the easy Wilton recipe.

Tried and true, I use this recipe all the time.

We'll use green food coloring to make a portion of our dough green,

and we'll make the shamrocks out of this dough,

the outer portion of the cookie will be regular sugar cookie recipe,

and provide a great contrast in our lovely cookie.

Let's make St.Patrick's Day cupcakes ! ... Yes ! GREEN cupcakes !

We'll use a great moist vanilla cupcake recipe for the base, and then make some

yummy cream cheese icing to top them off with some cute shamrock sprinkles.

Technically these are not green velvet cupcakes because there is

no buttermilk in them, but if you call them that, I won't tell :-)
