#Repost @jasonlicker ・・・ 2000 Mille Feuille by @pierreherme . After being super jet lagged and freaking out that I woke up at 1pm after being awake from 4-7am, I sprinted out to the mist touristy area of Paris, just because I know I am not supposed too. So happy I did, because the newest Pierre Herme shop in collaboration with L'Occtane just opened a month ago. I think everyone has a transcendent pastry have had that was an epiphany for them and this was it. The flakiest, most bitter layers of inverted puff pastry, crispy praline and praline butter cream that makes your head spin. It takes the same as the first time I had it in 2000. Walking into this place reminds me why I would want to have my own shop (for awhile I really didn't, not sure if I still do), but this place is buzzing and for a moment, life was perfect.
